The much sought after Kayira Beach Resort is built on the exotic beach front on the exquisite Island of Jinack, Gambia.
Situated across from mainland Gambia this Island is paradise on earth, with the most beautiful, deserted beach in The Gambia.
In contrast, on the opposite side of the Island we have the most stunning, meandering mangrove creeks venturing of into the Gambian heartland.
We pick you up from your Hotel and travel to Barra via the Banjul Ferry.
Then its a four wheel drive across the wetlands (spotting the red monkeys and diverse bird life) to the creek side of Jinack Island, where you will be canoed across the small distance to the Island.
Here you can wander around the village meeting the friendly locals and visit the school, then its off across the Island by donkey and cart to the beach and Kayira Beach Resort.
Lunch is served at the beach restaurant and you can spend the afternoon sun bathing, bird watching or fishing etc.
We return to Barra via the four wheel drive stright down the deserted beach and across the sands to Barra.
This is a full day trip and all drinks and lunch are included in the trip.
